Estee Lauder is not a cruelty-free brand because they sell in mainland China where after-market animal testing is required by law. Note, however, that Estee Lauder ended animal testing stateside over 30 years ago and is a brand that has been working to impact legislation and global adoption of cruelty-free alternatives, so I give them props for that.
