Pretty Vulgar is certified by PETA as cruelty-free. Sources I rely on to independently verify cruelty-free statuses, like Phyrra.net and Cruelty Free Kitty, have not confirmed the brand to be cruelty free at the time of this posting, and there is some debate as to whether PETA verifies that ingredient suppliers are also cruelty-free and that companies don’t sell their products in mainland China, where after-market animal testing is required by law. My guess is that Pretty Vulgar is probably cruelty-free, but I’d feel more confident saying that if some of my trusted sources for independent verification backed that up.
