I started Curology on October 20, 2019 and filmed this update 6 weeks later on December 4, 2019. I used Curology every 3rd night for the first week, every other night for the second week, and every night weeks 3 through 6. For the first 2 weeks I also stopped my morning skin care routine except for moisturizer and sunscreen. At week 3, I started adding in my Lancome Youth Activating Serum and Belif True Cream Moisturizing Bomb in the evenings, and resumed my morning skin care routine of Science Serum Bright & Tight, Lancome serum, Drunk Elephant C-Firma, Belif TCMB, and sunscreen. I use the Biologique P50 acid toner every 3 to 4 days in the mornings.

Pretty Vulgar is certified by PETA as cruelty-free. Sources I rely on to independently verify cruelty-free statuses, like Phyrra.net and Cruelty Free Kitty, have not confirmed the brand to be cruelty free at the time of this posting, and there is some debate as to whether PETA verifies that ingredient suppliers are also cruelty-free and that companies don’t sell their products in mainland China, where after-market animal testing is required by law.
