Today is a whole lot of “Sorry, Brad Mondo!” with my “late-quarantine” hair journey (and some bread, and a declutter of my skin care fridge!) THIS IS NOT A TUTORIAL! Please don’t take any of this as advice! I am the kind of person that would not cry if I needed an emergency pixie cut (been there, done that), so I do risky things to my hair. I do a lot of research but in the end, this is all better left to professionals! I’m just not ready to sit in an indoor salon with a bunch of strangers considering the exceptionally high covid numbers in my town right now (yay, college town….).
You may recall that I bleached my hair back in March and had been dying it with a combo of Arctic Fox Poison (red) and Purple Rain (purple) for some magenta-ish action, and then more recently with just Purple Rain. I wanted to move more to a cool blue-undertone purple rather than a red-undertone purple, so I was torn between trying Manic Panic Ultraviolet, or mixing my own Arctic Fox concoction with Purple Rain and Poseidon (blue). I ultimately did Manic Panic on most of my head and the Arctic Fox combo on the underside when I ran out of Manic Panic, and…. I should have just stuck with Arctic Fox.
